Morale is plummeting in Putin’s private army as Russia’s war in Ukraine falters

The Ukrainians’ bodies lay side-by-side on the grass, the earth beside them splayed open by a crater. Dragged to the spot by Russian mercenaries, the victims’ arms pointed to where they had died.

“Let’s plant a grenade on them,” a voice says in husky Russian, in what appears to be a plan to booby-trap the bodies.

“There is no need for a grenade, we will just bash them in,” another says of the Ukrainian soldiers who will come to collect the bodies. The mercenaries then realize they have run out of ammunition.

Wagner’s struggles in Ukraine have set in motion a wider problem: discontent in its ranks. For a group that depends on the appeal of its salaries and work, that’s critical.

From intercepted phone calls, Ukrainian intelligence services in August noted a “general decline in morale and the psychological state” of Wagner troops, Ukrainian defense intelligence spokesman Yusov said. It’s a trend he’s also seen in Russian troops more broadly.

The reduction in Wagner recruitment requirements point to demoralization too, he said, and the number of “truly professional soldiers who are willing to volunteer to fight with Wagner” is also decreasing.

Things aren't going so great for Wagner in Ukraine either.

CNN and the BBC running near identical propaganda pieces for the expansionist NATO.

Ukraine is doing nothing.

The US is using its satellites to pinpoint enemy locations.
The US is supplying weapons to Ukrainians who are getting training on how to input the coordinates we give them and push the button.

Did the Ukrainians really destroy that Russian location?

It seems like they are just an accomplice in a US-run operation.

Ukrainian ground forces? Armed, trained and led by American troops (former troops)

“...Ukraine is doing nothing...”

Tell that to the brave Ukrainian soldiers who have achieved miracles on the battlefield. The Afghans were given great equipment but failed to fight with consistent spirit. Ukraine improvises and often makes armor kills with obsolete RPGs.

Not all intel comes from eyes in the sky. Human intelligence from the occupied areas identifies many targets.

The one-time-zone country is outfighting the eleven-time-zone country so Russia wants to blame NATO.

Glory to Ukraine!!! Death to the invaders!!!

MI-6 is also part of the official disinformation campaign. There is this doozy.

Now, I thought the Ukes had destroyed all this stuff in battle and I thought that they were oversupplied with the newest hi tech western gadgetry being paid for with the gazillions in aid we are giving and I thought none of the Russian garbage worked or could be logistically supported.

But now it turns out all of those maneuvering columns of Ukie troops [speaking English with southern American, Auzzie and South African accents] are overturning Russia mostly with their own worthless garbage equipment that has no ammo.

I am not brilliant enough too keep all of these self contradictory MI6/CIA facts in my head at one time and it is exploding.

Maybe Snake here could explain it all to us.

Our new woke troops might not be great at ground combat, but they can post propaganda like champions.

Compare and contrast current boot camps.

If the US was invaded, I would hope some country helped us. If it wasn’t for the French, we may not be the United States.

BTW if things are going so great for Ukraine, why is Zelensky demanding preemptive nuclear strikes against Russia - which is the dumbest idea I have ever heard. Thomas Schelling got the nobel prize in economics for gaming these scearios out. You can do it too.

Just start with one question - how many nukes are you going to use to preempt Russian nuclear capabilities? If it is an overwhelmingly large strike the strategic counterstrike will happen before much of the first strike hits the ground and will be large enough to overwhelm our missile defenses which are not aimed at Russia anyway.

So the counterstrike will be devastating and with a warning that the next strike and western civilization ends, which the Russians have the ability to do.

Or you just do a demonstration - one or a few military targets to warn Russia - significant, but not strategic. Now you are the first to use nukes, you have lost the moral authority of the universe - that's ok-it's gone anyway - and Russia is free to strike at times and places of its choosing - while warning citizens of the world what stupid dangerous effing cucks are running the western world.

Will that be enough to cause a general uprising in the West against their useless worthless globohomo deepstate corrupt governments. Will that be enought to convince Switzerland to reassert its claimed, but foregone neutrality and kick the Davos crowd and othger globalist organizations out of Switzerland? Dunno, but you will reap the whirlwind - well we are reaping it anyway.

Why don’t you people ever share your sources that we should be looking at instead of calling everything propaganda? I’m willing to check it out.

Zelensky is throwing bodies at a losing cause. When the ground freezes, Russia is going to run all over the Ukrainian forces.

PS how's that we have the Saudis in our pocket thing working out for you guys. They were supposed to make up for the deficit in petrostuff caused by western sanctions against Russia. Now they are joining them?

Maybe we need to nuke our defecting allies to get them back in line.

I’m going to assume you think we shouldn’t have attacked the British. After all, Washington threw quite a few men at a lost cause until the French save our butts

On nuclear subs the crew cannot haze new crew members - which used to happen to everyone from E2 all the way up to the XO - to find out what they are made of and whether they can be trusted to turn the right valve the right way in a critical situation where everyone's life depends on it. COs were usually left out of it, and good COs joined in on it. And the XO was not exempted because after that tour he was going to be going on to be CO. But that was back when mastery of the Naval Arts was a thing.

I presume that drill sergeants can no longer demand an extra 50 pushups because the scum recruit in front of him just screwed up again by being a scum recruit who needs to prove he can put up punishment to do some extra healthy strength building exercises to make him fit for combat.

We attacked the British with no promise of assistance from anyone.

But you seem to support using NATO forces to fight Russia.

That tells me all I need to know.

If you love Zelensky and Ukraine so much, go over and fight. There are plenty of Americans on the ground leading Ukrainian units and planning strategy.

Fixed bayonets.....and I read somewhere that the Russians do a lot of close quarter training with sharpened trench shovels...some of which also have a spike.
