The real Armageddon of course is years away - the last part of this century IMO. It is actually the last event of Daniel’s70th Week AKA the seven-year tribulation.
By then what’s left of the world (most of what was the world will be gone by then) will have become so crazed and deluded that they actually think they can kill God. Lead by the satanic “beast” the whole world and its armies gathers in the Valley of Megiddo to meet Christ and his armies coming from Heaven (Christ’s second coming).
What happens next:
Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”
And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of about 200 miles.

Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

It appears that the effect of Christ’s sword will be like nuclear holocaust upon the armies of the world. Also it’s possible that the nuclear missiles aimed at Christ and his armies may very well be thrown back at them with the results as described.
I don’t believe we’ll see a nuclear war yet. I think the above will be the WWIII nuclear war between Satan’s minions and the Lord himself coming in a few years. If you are a believer do not fear. You’ll be among those with the Lord who’s got this. If you’re not a believer come to him now while there is still time.
I respectfully disagree. There may be conflicts in the future but they do not necessarily portend armageddon or the second coming. All of the events you mention are interpretations of scripture made by men and are subject to being incorrect as no one can know when the second coming will occur. Many have believed that we are are in the end of days for years and it has not come to pass.
