Cyberattacks reported at US airports
ABC News ^ | 10/10/22 | Josh Margolin, Sam Sweeney, Quinn Owen

Some of the nation's largest airports have been targeted for cyberattacks Monday by an attacker within the Russian Federation, a senior official briefed on the situation confirmed to ABC News.

Importantly, the systems targeted do not handle air traffic control, internal airline communications and coordination, or transportation security.

"It's an inconvenience," the source said. The attacks have resulted in targeted "denial of public access" to public-facing web domains that report airport wait times and congestion.

And how in the Hell can we know confidently that this is not just misinformation on the part of the Federal Government (CIA and others) meant to push the known Propaganda line against Russia?

The short answer is we can’t.

There is now no trust, from a thinking man’s perspective, in anything stated by Federal Agencies and their lapdogs in the Media. Period!

No doubt that Airports were on the list of the 16 critical US infrastructure sites that the Jobama said he gave to Puttin to not attack.

“There is now no trust, from a thinking man’s perspective, in anything stated by Federal Agencies and their lapdogs in the Media. Period!”

That’s all true.

We need to get John Sherman, Department of Defense
Chief Information Officer, to back off propagandizing FreeRepublic and the rest of American citizens.

Propagandists in our DoD and we know they’re operating at many sites, not just Facebook and Twitter, like here as you’ll notice when you view their profiles “in forum.”

Excerpt:

“The takedowns in recent years by Twitter and Facebook of more than 150 bogus personas and media sites created in the United States was disclosed last month by internet researchers Graphika and the Stanford Internet Observatory. While the researchers did not attribute the sham accounts to the U.S. military, two officials familiar with the matter said that U.S. Central Command is among those whose activities are facing scrutiny. Like others interviewed for this report, they spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive military operations.“

And another:

“”One diplomat put it this way: “Generally speaking, we shouldn’t be employing the same kind of tactics that our adversaries are using because the bottom line is we have the moral high ground. We are a society that is built on a certain set of values. We promote those values around the world and when we use tactics like those, it just undermines our argument about who we are.””

If an airplane fell from the sky, I’d be more inclined to think Biden did it than Russia.

Because computer hackers are always from Russia. Nobody else in the world would ever break into someone else’s property.

The DNC hack was an example. And Seth Rich killed himself. Sarcasm.

1. It is either true or not. We (I) don’t know.

2. If true it is most likely a test, a practice run before the real thing. And the real thing might be on a similar network that is not even airport.

3. If true, who is behind it. We don’t know. Clearly the Russians have the motivation to disrupt US society. To turn us against each other. When Trump was in power, The Russians spent most of their effort to motivate the left to sabotage Trump.

Now that Biden is in power, Putin is motivated to sabotage Biden by creating false flags on the right.

This is not a game of chess, my side or your side. This is a game of many players, each with their own special interest. Sometimes it may coincide with my interest, or my opponent’s interest. But let’s recognize the nature of reality. It is a zoo with no fences.

You can expect everything negative in this country going forward to be blamed on the Russians. It’s going to get so bad it will make Hillary blush. Plane’s late, must be the Russians. What’s that smell, Russian farted on the elevator. Go check your woodpile, you’ll probably find Putin hiding there. They’re kicking the west’s hysteria machine into overdrive. Bob Dylan wrote this around the time of the Cuban Missile Crisis. It’s more appropriate now than then.

Origin of “take it with a grain of salt”

A grain of salt (or a pinch of salt) is a very small piece of salt, so this idiom starts with the idea that most food tastes better with a little bit of salt. Food is tastier and therefore easier to swallow with a grain of salt, so this idiom claims that if someone is telling you something that is probably not entirely true or correct, it is easier to swallow it with a grain of salt than to argue against it.

Re: 11 - Good post. Unfortunately, it’s meaning will be lost on some of the folks who argue about the Russians and Ukrainians.
