They are going to attempt to disqualify as many Republicans as necessary for them to hold majorities by claiming they participated in an “insurrection”. In other words, the committee established to complain that the Trump & Co conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election will be used to overturn the results of the 2022 election.

In other words, the committee established to complain that the Trump & Co conspired to overturn the results of the 2020 election will be used to overturn the results of the 2022 election. A Dem state district court judge in New Mexico already did that against a sitting county commissioner in Otero County, Couy Griffin, a the founder of Cowboys for Trump organization. Unfortunately for him, Griffin is a non-lawyer gadfly who insists on representing himself in judicial proceedings which usually end up ruling against him.
