The older half-brother of slain 6-year-old JonBenét Ramsey has renewed criticism of Boulder police for not solving his sister’s 25-year-old murder case.
“Damn shame @boulderpolice refused the help of the much more experienced Denver PD. #jonbenetramsey,” John Andrew Ramsey tweeted on Oct. 5, alongside a link to an article detailing the Denver Police Department’s recent arrest in connection to a 2004 sex assault.
John Andrew was 23 years old when JonBenét was reported missing from her Boulder home on the morning of Dec. 26, 1996.

He should be expressing that anger over Burke, I always believed he was involved, I think he was jealous of JonBenet, her success, the non stop attention she received, and that night got really pissed that the pineapple that was meant for him that she grabbed a piece, so he knocked her over the head with the flashlight, and the parents covered it up to protect him
I don’t know if you’ve seen Reno 911, but the brother looks like Lt. Dangle.
Lou Smit was a retired detective in CO with a good reputation in soliving murders and a friend of Joe Kenda from Homicide Hunter. He believed hat an introducer broke into the basement and tried to share that with the Boulder Police, but they totally ignored him.
I believe the little brother did it and the parents covered it up.......................

Someone in that household/family either *knew* something or was involved in some way.
This case creeped and bored me back when it was relatively new. The fact that it has long been forgotten for the most part is a blessing at least from my perspective.
That CBS series on the case was VERY compelling, how Burke had issues, for revenge he smeared feces on JonBenet’s toys, he was jealous of his sister
That’s my opinion also. He lived in the shadow of a little beauty queen and the resentment had to have been overwhelming, I don’t think he thought “I’ll just kill her”, he simply went into a rage.
I have thought that way since the very beginning. He was most likely incensed at not getting as many toys or gifts for Christmas, and that was the last straw that sent him over the edge................
I’ve never seen the CBS documentary. Maybe they will rerun it some day...................
wasnt semen found somewhere... memory is foggy but I thought the parents were accused by some here at FR for pimping her out to associates... maybe im confusing with another victim on another case...

The police have DNA and I’m guessing it rules out the brother (Burke). However, they probably don’t have any close matches (yet) to narrow down the perp.

Who knows if you are right or not but belief is not evidence.
All the characters were great.
It was the one thing that CBS had that was really good, they went through EVERYTHING..even the “Foreign DNA” in the underpants, want to know why John Ramsey keeps on making a fuss about it, cause he knows it belongs to NO ONE in the US, some poor schmuck in China who packaged the underwear’s DNA is probably on it..in packaged underpants, many people dont wash them before using them, just take them out of the bag and wear it, that is most likely what happened here that is why you cant get the sample to match anyone, because the person does not live in the US
