None of them ever even spoke of it. NONE OF THEM ever said that Russia’s presence in these neighboring regions had any affect on American interests.
It was only when JOHN MCCAIN Started lobbying for war against Russia over Ukraine that this became an issue in America. And McCain hated Trump because Trump opposed this war-like agenda against Russia.

Scythians, Greeks, and Romans colonized Crimea and were the primary inhabitants for over 1500 years all the way up until the Rise of the Ottomans. Why not let Crimeans decide what country they want to be a part of? Based on previous referendums, I’d say they made their choice
