This is a point I've stressed in the past. For all intents and purposes, the EU is a dictatorship using economic force, rigged courts & propaganda in lieu of the brute force of the gun.

This has been my view, up close and personal. The pretty flag and often perky Ursula are the mask over an interior face which scowls and threatens all who would disobey its diktats.
