Biden calls abandoned UK tax cut plan a ‘mistake’

These people are globalists who see themselves as part of a global elite. Of course they think the internal policies of other countries are their business. National borders and sovereign nations accountable solely to their own citizens are a quaint concept to these people.

Business tax cuts from an excessive level pay for themselves through increased economic activity, thereby in turn increasing government tax revenue. But they are politically radioactive.

”Middle Class” income tax cuts have less of a measurable positive effect on revenue, but they are easy in 1,000 page bills to twist into various direct subsidies for certain classes of voters.

Biden’s typical statist argument is that government is so precious that it is an outrage to even discuss limiting its revenue.
