President Joe Biden is expected to announce yet another depletion of the Strategic Petroleum Reserve from the White House Wednesday afternoon under the guise it will "lower prices" for American families.
"The President will deliver remarks on additional actions to strengthen energy security and lower costs," the official White House schedule states.
During Tuesday's White House briefing, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was vague about the details of the announcement, but touted previous releases from the SPR and blamed price increases on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

How much is being sold overseas?
Draining the SPR for selfish political reasons is an impeachable offense. It’s going to be simple to prove this fact. Not to mention, gas prices are going to sky rocket on Nov 9.
Maybe Biden’s NOT doing this to get democrats elected - maybe he’s doing it to help his benefactors in China...

I bet that after the elections, fuel prices are going to go way up. Biden’s promise of a long cold winter will come true. I also think he will continue to drain the SPR to weaken our country further.

Stupid press needs to ask why the midterm elections are considered an “emergency” worth further depletion of the STR.
Follow ups: When and how will the STR be refilled? What will it cost to refill it? How long will it take? Where will the refill oil come from?

Uncle Sugar should have built 2 refineries next to the SPR and contracted out their operations. That way the oil can be refined on site and put into the economy.
What he’s is doing is skimming off the top of the bulk overseas oil sales and most right-thinking Americans understand this.

Biden’s under the mistaken impression ‘out there’ is a green perpetual motion machine - and if he and his thugs put enough pressure on engineers they’ll make it work for him.

Too late. Nearing $5/gal again here in N.E. HELLINOIS. Prices up over 80 cents/gal near me in the last two weeks. People are really bitching again, and the "I did that!" stickers with Biden on them are re-appearing.
