A police officer never knows what they may see out on patrol. They could break up a fight. There could be a crazy person yelling at a squirrel. We recently saw one cop pursuing a drunk Amish guy riding a horse.
An officer from the Thrall police department in Texas ran into Kyle Rittenhouse.
So, he posted a photo of this celebrity sighting on Facebook, saying "Make those stops, you never know who you might meet. Today it was Kyle Rittenhouse, welcome to Texas."
Rittenhouse, of course if well-known for having answered calls online to defend businesses during violent rioting, looting and arson unfolding in nearby Kenosha, Wisconsin, in August 2021, when Antifa and BLM thugs descended on the city.
Amid the chaotic scene, Rittenhouse opened fire, shooting three people, two of them fatally. He was acquitted of all charges in the shootings, as the jury agreed it was a legitimate act of self-defense.
But to the far-left, Rittenhouse is public enemy #1.
So people on Facebook immediately attacked the police department, and demanded the post be deleted and that they apologize.
Typical responses:
"Sick you are making him out as a hero. Shame on your officer and this department," whined one loser.
"I was thinking they couldn't stoop any lower, but it's the police..." said another anti-police jerk who is no doubt voting for Beto.
The Thrall Police, to their credit, not only refused to apologize to the angry woke mob, they made an addition to the Facebook post to enrage them either further - and give a quick civics lesson to any of them who might still possess brain cells:

There is not one reason why Kyle should have to bear one wrd of criticism for saving his own person from a murderous rat that earned the reward of extermination. Nor should Kyle glory in it, for the action was not meritorious. It was simply necessary.
When the jury's decision was "Not guilty," Kyle was NOT GUILTY. Period. Anyone saying otherwise is a fool, needing character development. Not your friend or mine.

Before the 20th century people in Europe hit on the idea of having huge armies opposed to each other to preserve peace because the war they would fight would be unthinkable. This brilliant scheme was utter bullocks in its own right because it was relying on the threat of maximized evil and horror to prevent said evil and horror ... rather than submitting to the Lord ... but even discounting that they utterly failed to comprehend that some people just want to set the world on fire because they are deluded with magical thinking that if only they could tear down what is then this perfect world will appear in a big proverbial poof.
In their day these secular fanatics — with an almost salvationistic zeal for Revolution yet completely devoid of any of that messy repentance or righteousness guff (why Marxist social theory is truly THE perfect opiate for elites and masses alike) — lit the match to the power-keg that the architects of the powder-keg believed no one would dare light. They were not big men, running big things, but little men set on murder and mayhem.
AntiFa are latter day versions of these same people. Their eyes are wild and merciless. Their ideology a hodgepodge of Marx, Gramsci and woke pabulum.
