.
Paul Ryan, Lindsey Graham, Mitch McConnell, and Brett Baier STILL think they can package and sell Pence.
They want a gracious loser.
Someone to tell the American people how good of a man Joe Biden is and how brilliant Kamala Harris is, all while packing it in.
.
Pence has a very warped sense of what conservatism is.
Pence is following Liz and Flake to oblivion.
What is it with these fools?
Whatever happened to a government of the people, by the people, and for the people.
Politicians need to remember that we did not appoint them to be our overlords.
I haven’t read all of the comments yet, but all that I read were a soothing balm to my soul. Thanks everyone!
I remember Mike Pence.
Pence is so stupid he confuses populism with decent people being fed up with morons like him
Please clap
Loser
He has no idea what conservatism is
Not sure I’d classify Reagan as a populist. At least economically he was a “trickle down conservative” whereas populism usually refers to policies benefitting lower/middle class only. Trump was a Kennedy-esque “float all boats” economic conservative appealing to all segments of society when it came to governmental economic policies.
Says the unprincipled neocon. Go count your money Mike, it’s what you’re all about.
Hey Mike...
Your version of “Conservatism” sucks canal water...
Go away
Mike, just go away. You’re a clown.
I agree with your thoughts, and I’d sit it out before I’d
vote for a Democrat in a seat.
That’s what I’ve done in presidential elections before.
It was for John McCain. There will never be a vote from me
for one of his offspring either.
Pence is, knowingly, quite incorrect about his charge of Trump-style populism (because EVERYONE knows what he’s talking about) being unprincipled. The principal underlying the entire movement is quite simple: that the government exists for no purpose other than to serve the people. Thus, everything that the government does should be with an eye toward how it benefits the people of this country. If that is unprincipled to him then he, himself, is absolutely unprincipled.
I believe Pence is a good man. But he makes vanilla ice cream look like tutti frutti. He made it all the way to VP good for him. He has no chance at achieving national office on his own.
Pence may be vertical at the moment but he is politically dead.
populism, that is, that which is popular with the voters, repels RINOs like garlic repels vampires ...
What’s wrong with “populism?”
Presumably, it is for things demanded by the population, that benefit the population.
With his statement, Pence reeks of insider arrogance.
I have more regard for dog poop that Mike Pence.
