I don’t know about Putin and the Mullahs, but Russia and China seem to have increasingly a common cause. They are not natural allies because they would each like to own big chunks of Asia. But the global situation seems to be isolating both Russia and China and so Russia and China are getting closer together.
Who thinks that’s a swell thing? Nobody. But we’re making it happen. And I guess we’re also causing Iran to have stronger ties with Russia. Also double-plus good.

This sounds surreal. Russia, the victor in WW2, the possessor of the latgest nucleat arsenal, producer of 1000s of tanks and armored vehicles, a Navy with ballistic missile subs and state of the art attack subs, an ait force filled with 4th gen aircraft, that Russia needs drones, missiles, and troops from a nation ruled bt 11th century mullahs. US, UK, NATO troops/soldiers on the ground in Ukraine and has long been confirmed.

Both Russia and US/Nato will bring into Ukraine conflict whoever can operate the machinery. And Zelensky is more than happy to pass the buck to outsiders as well....in fact he probably kicks back and raises a toast to every country fighting his conflict for him. Aftr all right from th get go he said this was a conflict “the world” had to come to Ukraine to fight.

Given the NATO doctrine of weapons systems’ interoperability from country to country, constantly escalating training outside Ukraine, and given modern comms, I doubt there is actually much need for NATO personnel to be in Ukraine.
