Pro soccer team, pro baseball team (Double A), a couple of Bowl games, an indoor stadium for the high school teams. Pro football team headquartered there. Used to have a velodrome, but I think that bit the dust. It's the location of choice for sports fans. Upscale suburb of Plano.
I was shocked to see FC Dallas’ stadium full for their playoff game, I’ve never seen it sold out before. I’ve been to a few games, but it’s always maybe 3/4ths filled at best.
Lance used to bike though our neighborhood to the velodrome. The pop was about 6000 then. I moved here to get away from the big city Arlington was becoming.
Don’t forget, soon to be PGA headquarters including 2 18 hole championship courses and even a 9 hole lighted night course. Omni Resort, conference center, hotels, lakes, you name it.
