The "largest country in the world" is not at all relevant because most of it is empty forests and poor rural areas. The economy of Russia is about the size of the economy of Italy, and it is smaller than the economy of California.
Having the largest stockpile of nuclear weapons doesn't make any difference unless you are ready to have everyone surrender to Russia, including the USA, because of your cowardice and fear.
