The 16 year old, 16 is not a “child” anymore, is listening to demonic influences and isn’t gonna like spending time with them forever. Better to repent.
“Your honor I agree” as I turn to my child:
“You are now the property of the state, and they will hold your hand to the gates of hell where you will remain for the remainder of your time here and beyond. I bid you good day and good riddance!”
The “child” will look back one day after they’ve mutilated and destroyed their bodies and broken relationship with their parents, and realize the parents were the only ones holding out for truth. Their parents were the only ones righteously advising them not to go down this dark path. The kid will be very very sorry they did not honor their father and mother
