I am a roofer and even with all you have listed..a thousand a square would be a gravy job for me....The profit alone would allow me to bank 10K...assuming your in Rochester and going to get 35K...we could each pocket an additional 5...CALL ME,lol

I know someone with that house. The price quoted 5 years ago by several roofers was about 25K. Now costs have gone up significantly. I can easily imagine they would quote 35K.

Exactly. $800 is usually all you’re going to get in this market. $250 material including OSB. $250 labor. 35% markup and dumpster and you’re @$800 a square. Also, most lots are either 40 or 60 feet wide in the city. The only way to get square footage is to go up and that doesn’t add to the size of the roof
