Russia CLEARLY had the goods on Ukraine, or they wouldn’t have been DIRECTLY contacting the defense ministers of the countries they’re virtually at war with.
As to whether Europe/US wants the world (actually, the 20% of the world we’ve reduced ourselves to) to think Russia was ‘projecting’ their own plot to light off a dirty bomb, right before the Midterm Elections, well so be it, as the West is incapable of blaming Ukraine for anything, even torturing Russian POWs and putting it on YouTube (and/or some other forums).
