Russia walks back risk of dirty bomb plot amid NATO warnings
Washington Examiner ^ | October 25, 2022 | Joel Gehrke

“We have got what we wanted,” Russian deputy ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy told reporters at the United Nations. "If this all does not happen, I do not mind people saying that Russia is crying wolf because we are speaking about a terrible disaster that might potentially threaten the whole Earth.”...“Russia often accuses others of what they intend to do themselves,” NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said Tuesday while visiting the USS George H.W. Bush, the American aircraft carrier leading NATO’s Neptune Strike exercises in the Mediterranean. “We have seen this pattern before, from Syria to Ukraine. Russia must not use false pretexts for further escalation. The world is watching closely.”

As the great female comedienne Emily Litella (Gilda Radner) often said on "Saturday Night Live," after portraying a funny ranting drama queen "Never Mind!"

Our government lies to its citizens constantly. I don’t trust anything coming out of D.C. or the mainstream media. All corrupt as hades.

“We have got what we wanted,” doesn’t sound like walking back. More like mission accomplished.

It's an information war. Yes, the Ukrainians are collaborating with the Brits and others to stage a false flag to blame on Russia (determined to get a war going) but the Russians aren't winning the information war as most of the MSM supports the globalists, so the Ukes are screaming louder, blaming the Russians as the aggressors and covering their own globalist proxy war covert plans well. Saw this on the web and I think it's correct:

"Russian Defense Ministry said they have information about the contacts of Zelensky's office with representatives of Britain on the issue of obtaining technology to create nuclear weapons. According to Kiev's plans, the detonation of a "dirty bomb" can be disguised as an abnormal operation of a Russian nuclear munition

— the goal is to accuse Russia of using weapons of mass destruction and launch a powerful anti-Russian campaign in the world aimed at undermining confidence in Moscow;
— two Ukrainian organizations have specific instructions for the creation of a "dirty bomb", the work is at the final stage;
— there is information about the contacts of the office of the President of Ukraine with representatives of the United Kingdom on the possible acquisition of nuclear weapons technology;
— there are enterprises in Ukraine with stocks of radioactive substances that can be used for a dirty bomb - three operating nuclear power plants (Yuzhno-Ukrainskaya, Khmelnytsky and Rivne) and the decommissioned Chernobyl nuclear power plant with radioactive waste storage facilities;
— more than 50 000 m3 of radioactive waste, which can also be used for a "dirty bomb", can be placed at the newly created enterprise for the processing of radioactive waste "Vector", at the Dnieper chemical Plant, at the disposal sites of radioactive waste "Buryakovka", "Podlesny", "Rossokha", the Vostochny Mining and Processing Plant is producing uranium ores;
— Ukraine also has a corresponding scientific base - the Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology, whose scientists participated in the USSR nuclear program and where experimental facilities operate, including the Uragan thermonuclear installations, as well as the Institute for Nuclear Research at the Academy of Sciences in Kiev, where research with radioactive materials is conducted at the VVR-M reactor in.

The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation has prepared forces and means in case of a “dirty bomb” being detonated by Ukraine."

The crazy thing is the vast majority of FReepers trusted DC denizens not at all. Nor did they trust Social Media or the old lying media. Now that a gang of illegitimate thugs in DC start an unprovoked proxy war on Russia, the DC swampers and leftist media are the paragons of truth and justice. If you voice a concern about blowing $100+ Billion dollars this year on it, you’re automatically a Putin stooge. Never question the power of the lying media.

They need to walk back saying that they walked it back because that wasn’t a walk back, but if they do walk back saying that they walked it back that would indeed be a walk back.

Russia is not and never will be a friend of the USA.

Neither is the European Union a friend and it never will be.

Russia CLEARLY had the goods on Ukraine, or they wouldn’t have been DIRECTLY contacting the defense ministers of the countries they’re virtually at war with.

As to whether Europe/US wants the world (actually, the 20% of the world we’ve reduced ourselves to) to think Russia was ‘projecting’ their own plot to light off a dirty bomb, right before the Midterm Elections, well so be it, as the West is incapable of blaming Ukraine for anything, even torturing Russian POWs and putting it on YouTube (and/or some other forums).

We have got what we wanted,” Russian deputy ambassador Dmitry Polyanskiy told reporters at the United Nations.

And what exactly was that, Deputy Ambassador?
