The new Congress should have hearings. This sounds like a cover up and political use of law enforcement.
No one knows if changing the “tone” of politicians and conservative media would have protected Paul Pelosi. But we do know that enforcement of immigration laws would have.

I don’t think it was any planned October surprise. I think it happened. Paul gets into mischief and needs supervision. They then scrambled to put together a quick story with a convenient scapegoat.

Agree. It’s too convuluted and also looking like it is not that beneficial to Nancy and the Dems to be intentionally cooked up. Paul’s got problems and they can’t keep them under wraps, that’s the real reason.
