A top elections official in Milwaukee has been fired after allegedly obtaining military absentee ballots for fake voters through a state-run website and sending them to a Republican state lawmaker, Mayor Cavalier Johnson announced Thursday.
Kimberly Zapata, deputy director of the Milwaukee Election Commission, allegedly requested the military ballots through the state’s MyVote Wisconsin website, Johnson said.
The ballots were sent to GOP State Rep. Janel Brandtjen, an outspoken critic of how votes were tallied during the 2020 election, who said in an October 31 statement that she believes “someone was trying to point out how easy it is to get military ballots in Wisconsin.”
Brandtjen’s office says the ballots were found on October 27 and then turned over to the Waukesha County sheriff’s office, who confirmed her account and said it was working with the Waukesha County district attorney’s office in this investigation.
The Milwaukee County district attorney’s office told CNN that it expects criminal charges to be filed against Zapata “in the coming days.”
Zapata’s attorney Michael Maistelman told CNN: “We will litigate this in the courtroom, not the media.”
The absentee ballots sent to Brandtjen were addressed to individuals who do not appear to exist, according to her statement, which included pictures of the envelopes she received.
“The ballots were all addressed to ‘Holly’ with three different last names. None of these individuals reside, or have resided at her address, and the Representative did not request the ballots,” her statement said.

So, (1) Was this an ill-advised attempt to show how easy it is to cheat, (2) Was this an attempt to set up the Republican critic, or (3) Was this on behalf of or coordinated with the Republican critic? In other words, innocent exercise or intentional cheat?

Then they made claims that a Republican requested the ballots, but never mentioned a illegal act by the Democrats (getting an disturbing military ballots)
People are totally gaslighted by the media. Including those who believe that more than 100% of the voters was good turnout.
We saw this exact move around Bladen County North Carolina, which is the home of Tarheel Illegal Vote Harvesting. For years, the Dems paid operatives to snatch votes. Then, they found a Republican used the VERY SAME PEOPLE whose illegality elected Governor Roy Cooper and people were arrested.

Upon trial and conviction Zapata should sentenced to become a one-time rope tester. It will set a precedent for all of the other Demonicrats.
Who sent the ballots to GOP State Rep. Janel Brandtjen? Was it the woman who was fired, or someone who obtained the ballots from her?

I’m under the impression that the election official did it and sent them to the republican to expose the problem. And was then fired in retaliation.

Troops from New York were allowed to authorize individuals back home to cast a vote on their behalf. Along with their mail-in ballots, troops would assign their power of attorney on slips that required four signatures: the voter’s, the person authorized as a recipient, a witness to the signed affidavit and a fellow officer. These documents would be sealed in an envelope and shipped back home to be counted in the final vote
Ferry told Wood that the votes from New York’s 91st Regiment had already been tallied: 400 for McClellan and 11 for Lincoln.
Wood returned to the office later and, following Ferry’s instructions, began forging signatures of the 16th New York Cavalry. Meanwhile, a clerk sat across the room signing ballots from the roster of names Wood had brought with him from home. Wood asked to personally deliver these fraudulent ballots, but Ferry said they would have to receive final approval from his colleague in Washington — Edward Donahue Jr.
Donahue soon arrived in Baltimore and met with Wood. It was revealed during this conversation that around 20 co-conspirators were already at work in D.C. to aid in the plot to deliver votes to McClellan. The following day Wood watched as Donahue and his crew formed a sort of assembly line, passing blank papers along to one another to be signed with the names of active enlisted men, wounded and dead soldiers, and officers who never existed.
