The NATO interest is in stopping Russian expansion in Ukraine. Otherwise, there is a risk of direct war with a Nato country over Moldova, or worse the Baltic republics. And so we supported Ukraine. If Ukraine loses, NATO loses and Iran and China see a broken West. And so Iran goes nuclear and China moves on Taiwan. Ukrainian victory is all that is preventing World War III.
