No, selling PayPal, which he co-founded, is what made him rich. Early investment in other tech companies made him richer, Tesla just made him filthy rich. I remember when people conservatives would bitch about farm subsidies. At least then we got an abundance of food available at affordable prices.
All of a sudden taxpayers funding cars, rockets and internet service that some can't afford or even want is OK with "conservatives".
