Trump has repeatedly hinted that he would pursue another run for the White House in 2024, while DeSantis has stayed quiet on the issue.

Everybody’s got an opinion Kenny, just like “anal orifices.”

Let ‘em all run if they want and how they want. We conservatives will vote as we choose.

DeSantis did say if Trump runs, he will not run!! Hope he stay true to his word. DeSantis will be backed by the RINOS and once that gets out, he is doomed! MAGA LIVES!

“Mega donor” like the Koch Brothers? I will guess here’s another one who has his hands in the deep state’s pocket.

Griffin also said he is against populism and the far right, conversed with McCarthy about adding more diversity to the the GOP, which McCarthy agreed with.

If DeSantis cared about the republican voters he would state his plans for 2024 and stop the nonsense. The fact that he doesn’t shows he cares more about his future than the party.

I sort of support this.
My concern about Trump is his age.
He will be 78 in 2024.
Even older than Biden in 2020.

I’m kinda glad to be on the Joe Sixpack side of the equation rather than the mega donors side. You might not believe it but those two sides have vastly different agendas.

The sanctimonious one is DON, not Ron.

Pure projection, and mean spirited.

It's like Trump is on a path to divide and conquer, even among his own party.

... and just days before the election no less, as though there are not enough Democrats for him to unleash his attacks.

I'm leaving Trump for DeSantis, unless Trump is on the ticket (and DeSantis is not).

I think trump will get the nomination, lose the 2024 election, and then will be done with politics. From then on it will be the party of Desantis, and I will welcome it.

While Ron Desantis is by no means a Mitt Romney or Jeb Bush, the movers and shakers will get behind him in a similar way to 2012 and 2016 because he is the ONLY person who could possibly be the nominee in 2024 instead of Trump (though if Trump runs, he WILL be the nominee).

And this another indication to how far we’ve come since 2012: no pantywaists need apply, and won’t be supported.

The Nikki McRomBush types are going nowhere, no matter what they try.

Trump/DeSantis

I know they can’t both be from the same state. But Trump can easily move to NY

You can bet that this guy is also huddling with McConnell, Romney, and the Bush-league republicans in his effort to revitalize the Glory Days of Bushism. No thanks. I hope De Santis shows this guy the door, and not let him fill his head with dreams of leading a Bush/Cheney revival.

There are a number of candidates who should run. If Trump wants to run, he can run too. That will result in the best candidate. No one should tell Trump to no run. And people shouldn’t get touchy and bent out of shape about other candidates running. Trump is not king. He does not have a right to be crowned without competition. But he also has a right to compete.

I like Destantis but the type of big name support he gets makes me question if he can be trusted. At least with Trump all the right people hate him

Megadonors like Ken Griffin, Peter Thiel keep their wallets closed for Trump - Sep 2016

We need different megadonors.

If he is smart he will back off right after the election tomorrow and announced that he is not even thinking about a presidential run …if he decides to run DeSantis will be totally destroyed by the majority of mega supporters. He has the support of Florida yes very popular yes but across the nation it’s still Trump! If DeSantis wants to keep the base happy he will announce that he’s not even thinking about running in 2024 ! That would put a nail in the coffin of the RINOS elitist POS! I hope he understands what their evil destructive game plan is…think tea party . These people only use folk and then spit them out after they have conquered their agenda! Governor DeSantis if you’re reading this please do not fracture the base but instead Unite us and you will be greatly rewarded with being our presidential nominee in the future along with being elected president! Don’t be like those POS backstabbing elitist globalist RINOS who constantly backstab the base! You do know we despise them don’t you? We hate turncoats just look at what happened to the backstabbing Cheney!
