Russian troops destroyed a key Ukrainian dam before fleeing Kherson dressed as civilians in the latest humiliation for deranged despot Vladimir Putin.
Incredible footage showed the moment the Nova Kakhovka dam on the Dnipro River was blown up by retreating Russian soldiers.
Alleged war criminal President Putin has suffered 'significant reputational damage' because of the retreat, the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) said.
Putin's army was caught on CCTV blowing up the hydroelectric dam before another explosion erupted along the power lines from the dam.
The video will be seen as evidence of deliberate destruction by the Russians as they withdraw from key locations in Kherson.
It is unclear whether soldiers destroyed the bridge as revenge for having to leave the city or whether it was a more tactical move since the dam also has a motorway and railway over the Dnipro River into the Kherson region.

Vlad is setting up defense lines for the upcoming negotiations. Make no mistake, Vlad will keep the ethnic Russian provinces, exactly as he stated in his goals ( accomplished) on his 25th Feb speech. The word is negotiations will start at the Minsk Agreements, where the Ukies violated it and started bombing the Donbass in 2015.
He has won, he destroyed the Ukie and EU economy, ( Many EU nations now suffering NEGATIVE GDP, high inflation, etc) crippled the West, and got richer in the process.

Looks like they destroyed the bridge, not the dam.
Temporary bridges can be quickly constructed. A month from now the river will be frozen. By January the ice will support heavy military traffic.
Looking at Wiki climate page, it doesn’t look like the Kherson region gets cold enough on average to freeze a river solid enough for vehicle traffic?

The only Ukrainian province that has an ethnic Russian majority is Crimea. Luhansk, Donetsk, and the rest of the so-called “Novorossiya” have ethnic Ukrainian majorities, even if most of them speak Russian. Please stop confusing ethnicity with language.
Here are some ethnic maps of Ukraine that show that ethnic Russians have never been a majority in any Ukrainian province outside of Crimea. Furthermore, are a majority in Crimea because Stalin deported the native Tartar population and replaced them with Russians
