When Bush was in office, the left had their tote boards as to how many troops we lost in Iraq and Afghanistan. When Obama got in office, those tote boards came down even though we lost more troops in obamas first 4 years in office than we did in all 8 years under Bush.
Under Trump during the covid pandemic, some leftist put up a tote board in New Yorks time Square that kept count of how many people had died of covid. When Biden got in office, the tote board was brought down.
Re: 7 - There was a professor at a college nearby that kept a running total of the dead in his exterior window. He took it down once President Obama was elected. He got roasted by quite a few students (and faculty/staff!) in the student newspaper for using military deaths as a prop in his dislike of President Bush.
