He’s likely going to get re-elected, because of whom he can bring down if replaced.

Yeah, time for new blood. But it looks like it’ll have to be in 2024 maybe. I think people are still appreciating the fact that he created the Supreme Court majority. Even though the Supreme Court, sort of screwed us this election.

This is so insane. Several Senators have spoken out publicly about his horribly failed leadership; yet no one has stepped forward to oppose him. Has he got them all too intimidated or something?

He’ll never be majority leader again, he’s a loser. He likes being told what to do as Democrats as long as they don’t mess with his perks, and they won’t, they’ll let him keep those as payment for being their butt boy.

Why not, when the benefit of the country is of no concern.

Mitch loves being leader of the minority. He can still get all his inside information and not have the responsibility of governing.

And if it starts looking bad for him, your favorite senators will say, “I absolutely will NOT vote for McConnell as leader. I will ONLY vote for his hand-picked successor. I’m serious this time!”

Some folks here argue that we should abandon the GOP and start a new party. A second group says no, that will split the vote. We should reform the GOP from within.

Well, if that slug McConnell returns as GOP Senate leader, that second group will lose quite a bit of steam.

No one pushes this guy. WHY do you want to be leader? You’re at 7% and apparently that 7% is the GOPe caucus. What is your vision for the country? How is ANYONE blaming Trump when this guy leads the Senate?

I’m also confident GOP Senators will elect McConnell, that’s why Trump is out last, best chance at MAGA. And if he doesn’t get elected for a 3rd time, maybe it would be a good thing if he leaves the Republican Party as an old husk, an empty suit, a smoldering pile of poop.

“McConnell only needs a simple majority of the Republicans”

Well, that shouldn’t be hard…….the majority of Senate Republicans ARE simple.
