They aren't "assigned a gender" at birth, or at least, they shouldn't be. They're assigned a gender at conception, and the doctor is simply noting what that gender is when they are born. To even use the phrase "gender assigned at birth" is continuing to use the twisted and deliberately distorted language of the leftists. No quarter should be given to the leftists, not even (or perhaps, especially) when it comes to their distortion and destruction of language and meaning.
