DeSantis just got elected for a 6 year term. He needs to stay where he is, learn from 4 more years of President Trump and then consider running in 2028.

Its a four year term, but yeah, DeSantis is just a kid in political age, he’s a youngster.(He hasn’t said he’ll complete his term as governor BTW)
6 years ago 17 Republicans were looking for the job of President. DeSantis wasn’t one of those 17.(Maybe he didn’t have enough money)
Think, if you were Gov. DeSantis would you want to inherit the mess Biden has made? Would you want to be stuck trying to fix it?
It would be a monumental task that perhaps could not be done. If Biden’s mess could not be turned around he’d be a one-term president.
It makes a bit more sense to consolidate your leadership and then run after being a successful governor.
DeSantis has said so much both publicly and privately.
