We no longer have democracy in America.

I guess the neocons are no longer trying to make the World safe for Democracy and Free Markets. They are now making the World safe for oligarchy and rigged markets.

Why don’t you just listen to the video. You’re repeating the same crap I’ve heard a thousand times, and quite frankly, it’s boring as well as simplistic. The video has a lot of information. You might agree or disagree with some or all, but just doing the Planet of The Apes Forbidden Zone scene over the title is old.

Democracy is a process, not a political state.

“Democracy in Ukraine? Where’s the sarc tag?”

Democracy is a political philosophy, and in application is widely varied. For instance, pure democracy — one person, one vote — is nothing but majority rule, which puts the minority at great peril. On the other hand, representative democracy under constitutional restraints seeks to protect that minority. The former is easy; the latter, quite difficult — but much better.
