The mom, though (this guys daughter) ended up in a rented room, and despite being a second amendment supporter herself, she was wondering how her son ended up with guns. There has to be a mental health angle on this.
Who raised this 22 year old gunman? Doesn’t sound like it’s the mom, and if it was the dad of this teen mom, that sounds questionable too since he clearly neglected his own daughter for her to have ended up in such a state.
I don’t know where he was living, but her reaction at the time of the bomb incident (where he threatened to kill her) was to declare she had a lot of money to hire a good defense attorney (for the kid).
She apparently got one, because the attorney was able to get the charges dropped and it doesn’t even seem as if they insisted that he get mental health care. She probably told them she would refuse to cooperate and they would have no case, and swore that she’d get treatment for him.
She’s the enabler of a nutty now-adult child.
