A recent Washington Post essay faced backlash online after listing common Thanksgiving foods and their “climate impact” in order to inform readers which of the festivity’s staples can be consumed “with a clear conscience.”
The Thursday article by food columnist Tamar Haspel, titled “The climate impact of the Thanksgiving meal might surprise you,” begins with the author admitting that “tallying the environmental impact of a holiday feast” does not seem to be in the holiday spirit.
“I know, I know, nobody wants to put ‘climate’ and ‘Thanksgiving’ in the same sentence,” she continues.

How very stupid.
I have only recently tapped into news via the internet and firestick having profaned paying for cable these last 6 years. It is almost one constant screed of climate change, some supposedly downtrodden class, some social injustice or some incredibly foolish woke agenda. It is prevalent on both local and national fronts. The whole damn mess is inescapable but it is also wrong.
It would be wise if liberals would just end their lives for the sake of climate change. The world would be a better place and something I could be thankful for.
Let’s all just die. Tamar goes first in a selfless act to save the erf. Get back to me when she offs herself.

No, this is good. Make sure all your food you are serving is high up on the list if you are inviting liberal family members. Better yet highlight the article prior to eating.
Can we list the printed edition of the Washington Post as toilet paper? With a notice next to the toilet “Please remember the planet and use only what you really need.”
