no one should be double represented in Congress. When citizenship was granted to all indigenous people within our borders giving all the right to vote in their local congressional district, the alternative of representation for internal “nations” was ended

The US government unilaterally violated treaties with several tribes in Oklahoma. The treaty in question in the OP is between two sovereign nations and approved by both nations. A few years ago, the US Supreme Court restored treaty authorities and responsibilities of both sovereigns. The US government unilaterally nullified inconvenient portions of some treaties.

In Oklahoma, the affected tribes and state are wrestling with how to arrange civil governance and both civil and criminal law. This affects a patchwork of lands and people in the eastern third of the state. The wrestling is largely complete.

Please list other treaties between sovereigns that you believe should be unilaterally violated by the US government.
