I loved the show up until season 7 when Negan was fully introduced, after that it became the soap opera you mentioned.
Fear TWD is basically a show about Morgan, they are bringing back Kim Dickens as Madison Clark.
TWD the world beyond wasn’t bad because they ended it after 2 years and exposed the CRM.
All these TWD spinoffs appear to be lame, I’ll given them a shot and see what happens.
AMC was a ad-free rival to TMC, until they decided to offer original programming and take ads.(and Turner locked up a lot of the vintage movies, like the early MGM/Warner catalog.
Oops! I stand corrected. Sorry about that.
Commercials in my movies? No thanks
With very few exceptions, the best movies were produced before the year 2000.
Most since 2000 have WOKE messages inserted into the scripts.
Agree.
A lot of people are going have to suffer (after we have suffered all these years). Otherwise, America is list if the voters decide "The economy's improving. I seen that on TV. Gas is down another 2 cents, too. I'm voting Democrat again."
Yeah, I quit watching when Rick blew up the bridge and was wisked away in the helicopter. I will watch the new movies with Rick when they start up.
Thanks for the warning.
I have read so much that was good about that show that I was going to download the series and binge-watch it(nothing else to watch anymore).
The only reason I haven’t watched it up until now, is that I was sick of ‘zombie’ movies decades ago :P
Well, scratch this one too now, I despise queer crap.
Maybe AMC Networks shouldn’t have removed their advertising from Twitter to spite Musk’s defense of free speech.
Oh, well.
I remember back when AMC ran old movies. Commercial free. I watched Breaking Bad but on DVD. As for The Walking Dead.... gave up on that after two seasons. And I missed Mad Men entirely. So why watch movies on AMC that are chopped to bits by ads, and who cares about their original programming?
I remember watching AMC when they showed quality films from the 30’s, ad-free. Films that were in the top ten of the year in which they came out.
“Well, scratch this one too now, I despise queer crap.”
Yep. It really limits entertainment options these days.
“Same thing with me watching “The Man in the High Castle” on Amazon, and the same result. They should have just ended it after Season 2.”
It got me on the show “Lost”, too. On that one what I saw was relatively benign, but I refuse to participate.
these companies like AMC are IDIOTS!!!!! that could be making billions leasing their content to Netflix, but instead are losing billions trying to create their own streaming platforms that no one will pay for consistently.
