Unintended something-or-other comes to mind

I pray to God I’m never in a position where a blood transfusion(s) is necessary. Now, in addition in worrying we’ll be transfused with blood from a jabbed person, we also have to worry about blood from queers.

Proud pureblood. See tag.

I had some fun with an OR nurse after I had major surgery several years ago. I awakened from general anesthesia and as soon as my eyes were open the nurse stated “You gave us quite a scare in there. You bled a lot and your blood got all over everybody. Will you give consent to getting checked for HIV?” From deep in my lizard brain bypassing ALL of my filters I said “Well, my boyfriend’s test came back negative last week so I should be OK...”

After her jaw hit the floor I started laughing and she did too. Best one-liner EVER!

When I came to in recovery from open heart surgery 27 years ago I heard a nurse and a doctor arguing about blood transfusion. The doctor thought I needed a transfusion, the nurse argued against. As I was all tubed up I asked for a pen and paper because I wanted my voice in the argument and did not want the risk of AIDS infected blood, and I scrawled “no transfusion.” Doc was outvoted 2-1. A bit later when I no longer heard my defender nurse’s voice, I became worried. I scrawled a note to the other nurse asking where my defender nurse went. The other nurse told me she would be back in a few minutes as she went for a cigarette break! LOL!

All blood is screened for HIV antibodies. However per John Hopkins, According to the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, most people test positive within a few weeks of contracting HIV. For others, it may take up to 12 weeks

This policy of using blood from homosexuals is insane and causes deliberate patient risk.

Just imagine the following: Your loved one has been seriously injured and needs blood or will die. You are offered the blood from a heterosexual or a homosexual and both bags of blood have tested negative for HIV, which one will you choose.

My statement is not anti gay. My statement is condemnation of medical malpractice.

I hope you are all well and recovered...but...we tried to give blood for a friend, but when we asked if he would get the specific blood (A-), we were told “No”...it just goes into the regular “bank”

My recurrent warning about HIV caused premature aging. In 2011, I found first science articles about HIV causing premature aging of 14 years. This premature aging happens even while treated with antiretrovirals. HIV’s accelerated aging causes many illnesses, like cancers, brittle bones and kidney disease. I also assume HIV’s accelerated aging means dying 14 years prematurely. To look up FR articles on HIV’s premature aging, check FR keywords hivaging and HivAcceleratedAging.

Entertainer Danny Kaye was killed by donated blood.

Charles Kivowitz, said Kaye had contracted “non-A non-B hepatitis” from a blood transfusion during quadruple bypass surgery. He died March 3, 1987

The Clintons were also involved in having tainted blood from prisoners. Thousands were killed.
