It’s my favorite book.
It got me back into reading as an adult.

Be sure to read the appendixes. They will scare the heck out of you, even more so than the novel itself.

I first read 1984 as an assigned book in English class in high school.

It was quite an eye opener for a 16 year old and helped make me the skeptic I am today.

Would they even allow such a book in a classroom today?
