I remember 1989 the oil tanker Exxon Valdez ran aground and spilled oil in Prince William Sound, Alaska.

Some ignoramus asked if the oil went half way up Mt Denali (Mount McKinley).

Earlier there was the Torrey Canyon oil spill off the coast of Britain in 1967.

People go bonkers over any oil spill. On land or in the ocean.

Don’t be surprised if Biden’s Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration (PHMSA) keeps the pipeline shut down like it is doing with the Freeport, Texas LNG facility.

It will be cleaned up, any damage will be mitigated, and “the environment” will, as far as needed, recover.

But the economy may never recover from the current stage of the “green” agenda.
