“What I find puzzling is that the United States Rewards for Justice program does not list al-Marimi as a wanted terrorist. You can follow the link below and check it for yourself.

I do not know if the failure to offer a reward for him was the result of bureaucratic oversight or because U.S. officials do not believe the evidence against him was sufficient to make a legal case. Regardless, DOJ is now ready to prosecute and he is now on his way to the United States to stand trial. I will be interested to see the evidence that the DOJ is using. There is no forensic evidence tying him to the suitcase that contained the bomb. It appears the case rests on accusations from current Libyan officials who opposed Qaddafi.”

One wonders if this was the real prisoner exchange. Grinder - Bout trade was a HORRIBLE bargain where the US got literally NOTHING in exchange for handing over the the “merchant of death” Viktor Bout. Is it possible that it was Grinder AND Marimi for Bout?

Even if it’s so, it’s STILL a horrible bargain. And it doesnt make sense to conceal it. Unless the Russians didn’t want to be seen as dealing Marimi away. What does this Viktor Bout guy have on the bidens forcing them to fig leaf this deal? There’s more to this story than meets the eye.

My guess would be we have control of Libya as a failed state (”Break it, you own it”, according to one of Colin Powell’s rules), so we’ve had him over there ready to drag out once we needed that particular flavor of distraction.

From the Biden perspective it’s easy - he has an America Last policy.

Per the Libyan dude, my guess is that this is actually part of the Iranian nuke dealings.

Better late than never.

The reason it took them so long is they were focused on going after U.S. citizens. i.e. J6 protestors.
