XY chromosomal DNA is male but can be identified as being female.
XX chromosomal DNA is female but can be identified as male.
Makes perfect illogical sense, not to mention virtually impossible.
Now if they can ever transition from the XY strands to XX (and vise versa) on the cellular level, well now we would have something really special.
