Every time someone in DC says they are going to pass a law to do something, it usually does the opposite of what it’s named.

I don’t trust it. Not even from Rand Paul.

You can’t pass a law to protect the electoral college when someone else can just pass another law to undo it or worse. The only way to protect something is to write it into the constitution with an amendment and hope the courts actually do their job and protect it.

It also implies you can alter the Constitution absent an amendment. So it’s a mistake.

But good point about the laws having opposite effects.

Reduce Inflation Act = more inflation.

Anything to do with immigration reform = problem is worse as it is a green light to enter the country.
