Correct.
The 2020 "election" was proof-of-concept, and the 2022 "election" was engineered to win control of the US Senate, and shape the battlefield for 2024 [the DeSantis and Brian Kemp victories].
They ran out of money to create ballots in New York state and California, but were able to "win" the races they felt were important, as you said.
We’ll still have two parties, the Constitution Party and the Swamp Party.
Trump is NOT going to tun third party.
There are 100s of “third parties”, of all flavors, the fact that people don’t know that pretty much says it all.
Get out of this land?
Not me. I swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend America against all enemies, foreign and domestic, and with GOD’s help I will keep my word.
Great tune, remember it from “There’s Something About Mary”
Actually, primaries are about 15 months away, not two years. I’m not wasting my time at the moment with this.
The people are never given the choice of voting for a platform that gives them exactly what they want: social conservatism and the interventionist state. Instead, the center-Left offers an interventionist state combined with social liberalism. The center-Right offers social conservatism combined with pro-business policies.
Given this setup, you’d think that as the Left and Right trade power, the people would get at least half of what they want all the time. But somehow it doesn’t work out that way.
When the Left is in power, it is more effective at delivering the half of its platform favored by the elites: social liberalism. When the Right is in power, it is also more effective at delivering the half of its platform favored by the elites: tax cuts for the rich, free trade, open borders, etc.
A system in which the majority get none of what they want, all the time cannot be seriously described as a democracy.
I salute your dedication.
There may come a time when you realize that what you swore an oath to defend no longer exists and what is there in its place is exceedingly dark and terrible.
I see that now. And I don’t see any way back back from the perverted thing it has become.
Unfortunately, that blame will be correctly placed. Trump was deceived by his advisors and made a bad decision. But it was still his decision. He will need to unwind that decision in some way. Placing blame for the catastrophe on the fraud by selected pharmaceutical and government executives might work. Somebody will need to be punished to satisfy the vengeful desires of victims and their relatives.
Donald Trump repeatedly selected and backed too many people who then turned on him and betrayed him. It is his biggest and most important weakness. The "Deep State" used that weakness against him very effectively. He must correct that problem.
Trump is not going to beat the "Deep State", neither is DeSantis, or any other candidate by their own efforts. The "Deep State" will self-destruct from economic collapse caused by its' totalitarian policies. Whoever is left standing in the aftermath will seize power and claim victory as they purge the old regime and attempt to put pieces of the country back together.
That might be Donald Trump.
Agree!
This guy is trying to steer the future a third party can’t win the WH gig.
Not saying i like it.
Trump and a Gabbardish veep on an America 1st ticket would be formidable.
It’s just about Trump. And I can’t tell you how sick I am of that.
*********
Hang tight for a couple of years and you’ll be able to get over
your sickness. The GOP has got to take a hard look within and
make a decision as to what needs to be done and then do it.
Change and realignment are necessary or the GOP is history, jmo.
Yes, absolutely agree!
