The St Louis police will do nothing to stop car theft. It’s understandable that people have to be their own law enforcement. Not guilty.

I was going to say something like that.

The reason vigilante justice is the only true justice (other is pseudo justice) is because the legal system is so skewed in favor of the guilty criminals. Victims and the future victims are helpless as the guilty are set free. Jurors are not allowed to hear taped confessions or oral statements if any technicality (not just Mirandizing flaws) can be found. And past exact duplicate crimes cannot be mentioned in court. Or sealed juvenile records.

And so on. WE know things the jurors were not allowed to learn. Thus, people lose all respect for the system of pseudo justice.

The unfair thing is the outraged victim or loved one of a victim has to engage in the purity of vigilantism and suffer the legal punishments later.

You are absolutely right. The reason to have our government run law enforcement and justice systems is to relieve the citizen of the need to get revenge. Stop doing that job and folks are compelled to handle it.
