The Han people of China are one of the most ethnically similar groups on Earth. I can imagine if Han, for whatever reason, are more susceptible to COVID then it would make sense that ~25% of them could have it at the same time.

I'm wondering if this is why Israel and Japan took such drastic measures in making sure everyone was jabbed. If they didn't know ahead of time how susceptible they were genetically, then they would have needed to pull out all the stops to protect their populations.
