It’s the charging stations - there is not enough charging areas for a fleet of trucks at any truck stop or terminal. Very few towns have enough power to supply a completely electric truck terminal.
This is so sad in a way. Owners of electric vehicles in Olympia, Washington were waiting in line about a city block long to charge their cars. I wonder how long they had to wait. Doesn’t it take about an hour to charge up? I don’t know, I’m sure it takes a little longer than pumping gas. Do you think the owners of these vehicles are completely happy with their Tesla, leafs and other EV’s? Maybe them knowing they are personally to be praised for single handedly saving the world takes away the pain and loneliness of missing Christmas Eve with their families.
