There were over 500 homicides in Mayor Jim Kenney’s (D) Philadelphia in 2022, making 2022 the second consecutive year that the threshold of at least 500 homicides has been reached.
On Christmas Day, the Philly Tribune reported the city reached 500 homicides and six days later, on December 30, 2022, WHYY noted the death tally had risen to 514.

Many of the victims are revenge killings or gang related. Cops don’t really investigate, no arrests, no convictions, no imprisonments. Justice in Democrat run cities is wild west revisited. Actually culls the criminal class and saves the taxpayer money with less long term prisoners. Anyone stupid enough to live there voluntarily or who must work there has to know how to keep out of the crossfire. Hint: Avoid a one block radius of known drug locations.
Like the government spin claiming crime is down arrests are down ......................because they are not arresting anyone for the crimes. Who is believing this sh##
My Leftist in-laws live in Philadelphia. My nephew lives in Society Hill with his wealthy wife. They all deny there is a problem. Yes, they ALL voted for Fetterman.
At least the victims can still vote.
To give some perspective, NY City has 5 times the population of Phili, and had their total murder count under 300 just 5 years ago. Since then, they went woke, but are still under 500 murders...again, at 5 times the size of Phili.
I bet the majority of the killers were the usual suspects.

How many of those 500 people killed were blacks being killed by other blacks? 490?
Thanks for posting the picture. I think that’s the Mayor doing the Sanctuary City dance. He was overjoyed that a judge had overruled President Trump. 500 of his constituents would like to thank him for all his liberal policies. But they can’t because they’re dead.
