By getting these guys on the same page doing the only 2 things they can hope to accomplish in the next 2 years: Obstruct and investigate the Democrats.

McCarthy threw in the towel on the 4th vote.

Did they vote a fourth time yet? Jim Jordan appears to be the only real leader up there.

I think most of McCarthy’s opponents are rejecting him out of principle—a rare thing in Congress. It’s starting to look like he’s not going to get enough support.
The response by the McCarthy side is telling. Phony compromises and real threats. Moved into the speaker’s office without getting the votes. Lies.
If you look at my earlier posts I’ve been pragmatic on this, but now I’m moving toward scorched earth. We do not need any more deep state GOPe dictating how the government is run.
The GOPe despises conservatives but covets our votes. They need to learn that they will lose their jobs if they do not do what we want. They also need to be held accountable to their oaths of office—criminally and civilly.

So none of tbe new Conservatives that won election for the fist time this last cycle, who are voting for McCarthy, represent the GOP voters, but the Freedom Caucus does?
Even Trump this morning reads the tea leaves correctly and came out sayinh HE supports McCarthy and McCarthy should be elected speaker. But to you even Trump does not represent the GOP voters???
You are being played by some members of the Freedom Caucus. That is what is happening.
and my newly elected congresscritter Boebert is embarrassing. I am afraid shes just another mcain style fake conservative which would explain why the Colorado vote cheating system let her to win the seat without a lot of the effort it would take to overturn the results ( which is why I wasn't real thrilled when she won)
