Another bad mark for The Metro. But.... The Metro is just a jobs program. Any transportation provided is purely a by-product.

He could become the conductor on a truck; at least he’d be a semiconductor.

I can’t imagine trying to control that giant steering wheel with the giant brake pedal on a train while intoxicated. Too easy to take a wrong turn and get lost.

DC politicians operate our government while intoxicated. Can we arrest them?

When I was a kid and Metro was being built, I really wanted to work there. But I’m not black, so no dice.

Be glad you didn’t. They’re the laughingstock of American mass transit.

No kidding. Back in June I didn't see one white person working the Metro or security in D.C. Black teenagers ran amok in the cars and the black security just ignored them. As the black ghetto bangers left the train they jumped the turnstyles and the black security just let them get away.

I actually operate trains better with a few drinks in me. I find it relaxes me a bit, and I can focus on the little blinking lights and stuff.

Sober, my mind is all over the place - I’m worrying about too much other stuff.

You don’t even have to steer the thing - it just follows wherever the tracks go - a lot of stuff happens automatically. The last thing you want to is to feel all tense and start pushing buttons and pulling levers - being a bit buzzed helps with that.

You can just go with the flow.

Don’t let anyone see you drinking though - people get all weird about it.

All public transportation projects are graft programs. The money that flows and the contracts that are signed are opportunities for graft, graft, wonderful graft.

It sounds like the black people were discriminating on the basis of skin color which would make them racists.

However experts in academia have assured us it is not possible for a black person to be a racist. I must be mistaken.
