As an Alabamian who recently put solar on my house, I wanted to buy panels and other equipment made in the U.S., bonus points if made in the south or even Alabama.

But I could find exactly zero information on which LG panels were made in Huntsville. Some LG panels were made in South Korea.

That's the #1 reason I bought panels made by Mission Solar in Texas.

Yep. Whether or not FReepers agree, solar is growing fast and it works. Those panels are going to be built somewhere, why be stupid and let it all default to other countries. The states with the most business-friendly climate will be the greatest beneficiaries of “Made in America” and reshoring.

For those who don’t like solar: don’t put it on your house.

Simple.

Did you buy direct or go through a third party? Ever work with backwoodssolar.com?
