Professor: Gen Z is Useless, Mentally Fragile, and Causing a ‘National Crisis’
The Lid ^ | 11 Jan 2023 | Jeff Dunetz

A New York professor says that Generation Z is too brittle and jeopardizes America’s future, especially if a war happens because they will be useless in combat.

Backing up that statement is, “Pentagon and Army Major Jon-Marc Thibodeau believe that Generation Z’s skeletons are weaker for various reasons. The dubbed “Nintendo Generation” has listed that a sedentary lifestyle has affected the skeletons of the current-day soldiers, making them easier to break when transitioning from a civilian lifestyle into the military.”

Gen Z has been raised to be addicted to pointless social media posts and to be whiny victims who have no love for traditions, family, or the United States.

“When you look at Americans born after 1995, you find that they have extraordinarily high rates of anxiety, depression, self-harm, suicide, and fragility,” Haidt told the paper. The article says, “He attributes this to the combination of social media and a culture that emphasizes victimhood.”

Terrible parenting also made Gen Z too “fragile” and unable to deal with the stress of adulthood.

whiny victims who have no love for traditions, family, or the United States.

They will be raising children soon. Imagine how that's going to turn out. Worst parents ever. And that's saying something.

Fortunately they are in the cohort choosing pre-emptive vasectomies and INCEL lifestyles.

The cutting edge of this group went through high school and university entirely through the Obama years.

While the White House moved on with Trump, the media did not—we are effectively entering the 15th year of being stuck on Obama(Orwellian)-style Hope and Change—
which is better articulated in the articales phrase as whiny (perpetual) victimhood.

By definition, INCELs don’t, at least directly, choose that life style.

There are still good farm kids out there. I suspect that they want nothing to do with the current military. The Pentagon and Army Major Jon-Marc Thibodeau may want yo clean their own house, to the extent that it is possible under the current administration.

Gen Z would say that they have a higher purpose than fighting wars. In the eyes of the WEF New World Order types, this is true. Gen Z is to capitulate.

Good. The rest of us will probably have to be fighting them.

Two months ago, I (rightfully) tore into a Gen Z “shift manager” at a local BWW who was using the restaurant as his own personal playground - annoying me and a few other tables. Rather than deal with me, his reaction was to run back to the kitchen and hide for the remainder of the hour that I was there. Of course, it didn’t feel safe to order food at that point, so I spent my time chatting to three different staff members who thanked me for verbally spanking the little narcissistic snowflake.

I would have to say I cannot disagree with your assessment nor the one expressed by the article.

[(Orwellian)]

But that would indicate some sort of a spooky world order that seems to parallel what ‘1984’ warned about.......

Oh, wait...

Just a short while ago the media was talking about harvesting babies in giant fake wombs.

What the hell does anyone expect these Gen Z people to think? Does that sound like a loving family, country? Nope.

The crisis is what we have allowed to happen because we are cowards who have sacrificed the kids to have material pleasure and that still comes first because we don’t want to sacrifice anything to fight it.

Simple as that.

I have definitely seen these coming into the office over the last decade.

But I also talked with several dads last year who took with their 8 year old boys on their first hunting trip and bagged their first deer. Dressed and all. I expect those kids will do okay.

I wonder if DoD can keep a lid on deaths during Basic Training. Deaths in the field of athletics are getting a lot of attention.

DoD’s solution would probably be to ease physical training.

Weak people make for hard times.

Just finished a course on Neurobiology and Toxic Stress in animals. Incredibly interesting as much of how we apply the concept of stressors to animals is related to how we interpret stress in humans.

The big takeaway for me was that toxic stress actually changes brain function to a point that the Prefrontal Cortex of the brain is unable to function to stop the exaggerated behavior response to stress. Basically it is loss of logic, impulse control, and flexibility of the mind.

Gen Z is a national crisis when one considers what social media, online games, even their high use of text/phones. All of these items are stressors and for some it is a ‘toxic stress.’ What the professor is observing is the result of neurological pathways that have been altered to the point of creating a useless generation unable to cope.

According to my understanding, this cannot be undone, although new pathways can be ‘trained.’ The damage is done and will always be there. While this damage may not be genetically passed on, children raised by these individuals will have a high probability of expressing the same dysfunction.

My girlfriend runs a daycare in her home. She tells me the current parents have absolutely no parenting skills whatsoever. No discipline. Some of them are incapable of potty training.
