Biden’s real estate holdings (and net worth) shot up big time after he left the WH and Hunter (his words - not mine) paid for this stuff so in fairness, Hunter was not lying here?

They were selling “influence”. Most of our elected leaders (and even bureaucrats) in DC are doing it. Look at the high-paying jobs “retired” Generals or senior executives get immediately upon retirement from “public service”.
Watch how well Crying Adam and TDS Cheney are rewarded. Look at Lisa, Peter, Andy, James, and Jim. Do you think they make more money or less money after they were forced to leave “public service” (with pensions to boot).
You don’t have to sell a document. The knowledge, rolodex, and ability to influence a multi-trillion dollar federal budget or the regulations that have billions of dollars of impact on industry are the real commodity.
It’s so pervasive and lucrative that the “wealth” of DC and the surrounding counties continues to grow far beyond the rest of the nation.
Influence is the product - not specific documents. Soros is the King of this business model and it appears the CCP is not far behind.
