Brushcutter is a tool you will come to appreciate having. Nature has a way of re-taking property FAST.

Beware the sprouting of poison ivy EVERYWHERE you cut the brush. Also it’s especially potent in the spring with new growth.

Glad you have a Habersham escape-pod. You likely already know this but Dillard is a nice place, good local eateries, and the Ingles there is top notch for a 100 miles ;-). Well, maybe 30 miles ...

I especially recommend the Dairy Queen in Dillard. Can’t beat a large milkshake after a hard day’s labor on your property.

I had a cabin on screamer mountain in Clayton for a long time and planned to retire there but in the end we decided that the Cornelia area was a better fit because my BIL is not doing well and we need to stay closer to my sister who is in Gainesville. Have spent a lot of time in Dillard. Its a great little town.
