They’ve got less than two years to get stuff done and THIS is their choice of pursuit?!

There are many worms in this rotten apple. Sometimes a worm turns. Justice is coming.
Without 60 votes in the Senate and the White House, getting much done will be difficult. Picking a few issues to work on with about 40 key members doing the heavy lifting and having the 160 others support where appropriate and otherwise run interference seems ok to me.
If this is what the second violin section will be doing, things could be worse.
That said, I think those who question the timing may have a point.
